I'm Tammy Saunderson
Simply Music started in 1999 from humble beginnings... This history of Simply Music is actually quite... simple! The Martin Family started as a band many years ago, performing at festivals across Canada. When they returned to town, friends and family frequently asked them for music lessons.
Soon after, they started "Kindermusik", a music program for children that still runs today. One thing lead to another and before they knew it, they were running a full time music school, with 300 annual students. The Martin family not only have years of experience performing and teaching, they also have an ardent love of music. They are passionate about sharing the joys of performing with keen students.

"I would like to take a few minutes to encourage you to check out Simply Music Fort St. John. When my son Carl was under 3 it was suggested by my mom that I enroll Carl in the program for toddlers at Simply Music. In the fall of 2004 I did just that. Now 12 years later Carl has gone through the Kindermusik program, done a couple years on guitar and presently is entering grade 7 piano. He is an honour roll student at school, excels at playing percussion in the band program at school and has won top marks in BC for his grade with conservatory Canada twice. Simply music encourages their students to do their best at every level. They are almost as proud of Carl with his accomplishments as we are as parents. Thank-you Simply Music for helping my son get to where he is today and for continuing to help him raise his bar higher than he or I ever dreamed possible."

Prestigious Award Details
All these exams are conducted through a National Examination Company.
The award is highly prestigious and is considered a Provincial Championship Award.
To qualify, students must achieve a 1st Class Honours on their exam (or a Grade A).
The award goes to the student who scores the highest in their musical test.
